Searchy

Searchy is a small application for RISC OS that allows you to search the world wide web from the desktop in a similar manner to the various utilities available for other platforms. Intended as a replacement for the similar !Google application by the same author, Searchy includes many new features and a much nicer user interface.

The latest version of Searchy is version 1.80, which was released on 1 January, 2009. You can obtain this version from the download page

Updates

I may, over the course of time, release updates to Searchy. These are done via this website. You can do a simple check to see if you have the latest version of Searchy by clicking the "Check for updates" button in the information dialogue of the application (Middle-click on either the application's window or iconbar icon and move across on "Info"). Updates are usually announced via comp.sys.acorn.announce, Drobe, Filebase, etc.
