Over the years, I've collected various bits of code. Some of the more interesting ones are (or will soon be) put on this page.

RISC OS Specific

The software in this section is specific to the RISC OS operating system. If you want to try them out on other machines, take a look at RPCEmu.

Searchy

Searchy is a small utility that places a window just above the iconbar that lets you search the web using your favourite search engine. RISC OS browsers generally don't have a "Google" box next to the address bar, so this was the next best thing.

Before using Searchy, please make sure to read the release notes and !Help files, both of which are contained within the zipfile.

Requirements: RISC OS 3.50 or later, 640k free memory, 200k disc space, an internet connection and a supported web browser
Supported web browsers: NetSurf (recommended), Oregano, Oregano 2, Fresco, Browse, Phoenix and WebsterXL

Jasmine

This could probably be classed as a desktop silly. Basically, it puts a little button in the top corner of the screen that scrolls around various bits of system information. It was written as a learning excercise in aroudn 2005 and found during a hard dsic cleanup.

The information it displays is: System uptime, total system memory, used system memory, free system memory, number of running applications and number of loaded modules.
